Warm, personalised disability support across Melbourne, built around your goals, routines, choices and what matters to you.
From support at home to community activities and longer-term living options, our supports are tailored to your needs, goals and lifestyle.
We take the time to understand your goals, strengths, interests, culture and routines so your support feels personal, consistent and meaningful. Whether we are supporting you at home, in the community or through our Day Program, we work alongside you, your family and your wider support network.
At GlowAbility, participants are more than a name on a roster or an NDIS plan. We want every person we support to feel welcomed, valued and part of our community.
We believe good support is built on genuine relationships, clear communication and understanding the person behind the plan.
Your goals, choices, interests and routines shape the way we support you.
As a family-owned provider, we value familiarity, consistency and genuine connection.
We welcome people from different cultures, backgrounds and communities.
We focus on your strengths and support you to build confidence and independence at your own pace.
Our Day Program brings together activities, skill building, social connection and community participation in a welcoming environment.
Based at Flemington Community Centre, the program runs Monday to Friday and includes both 1:1 and group support.
Participants can enjoy activities such as:
Activities are adapted around participants’ interests, goals and support needs.
Whether you are looking for support for yourself, a family member or someone you work with, we are here to make the process simple.
GlowAbility was founded by Yasmin Imam, who has worked in the disability sector since 2018, beginning as a disability support worker.
That hands-on experience continues to shape the way GlowAbility works today: listening first, building genuine relationships and providing support that reflects each person’s individual needs, strengths and goals.
Yasmin remains actively involved in the day-to-day operations of GlowAbility and works closely with participants, families, Support Coordinators, Behaviour Support Practitioners and allied health professionals.
Every participant brings their own goals, routines, interests, culture and personality.
Our role is to understand what matters to you and build support around that. We work collaboratively with participants, families and support networks so everyone feels informed, involved and confident in the support being provided.
GlowAbility Care Services is based in Flemington and provides disability support to NDIS participants across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.
Whether you need support at home, in the community, through our Day Program or with your living arrangements, our team can talk you through the options available.
